Biography
Dr. Jun Takaya received his PhD from Tokyo Institute of Technology under the direction of Prof. Nobuharu Iwasawa (2004). After a JSPS postdoctoral period (2004-05) working with Prof. John F. Hartwig at Yale University, he was appointed to an Assistant Professor of the research group of Prof. Nobuharu Iwasawa at Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2005, and promoted to Associate Professor in 2014. In 2024, he moved to Osaka university as a full professor. He was working as a researcher of PRESTO, JST from 2017 to 2020. He received Incentive Award in Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Japan in 2013, Merck-Banyu Lectureship Award in 2014, Thieme Chemistry Journal Award 2015, The Young Scientist’s Prize in 2016, and SSOCJ Tosoh Award for Environment and Energy 2024. His research interests are on the development of new transition metal catalysts and reactive species to achieve new molecular transformations in synthetic organic chemistry.

Biography
Shuichi Suzuki received his Ph.D. in 2006 from Osaka University under the supervision of Professor Dr. Kazuhiro Nakasuji and Professor Dr. Yasushi Morita. In 2006, he was appointed to an Assistant Professor of. Professor Dr. Keiji Okada at Osaka City University. Then he was promoted to Lecturer in 2010 at Osaka City University. In 2015, he moved to Osaka University as Associate Professor. His current research interests focus on the development of molecule-based assemblies with exotic physical properties and functions based on syntheses of organic molecules and organic-inorganic hybrid materials.

Biography
Dr. Soichiro Kawamorita received his Ph.D. in 2013 from Hokkaido University under the supervision of Professor Dr. Masaya Sawamura. He conducted research as a JSPS DC1 fellow during his doctoral studies (2010-2013). In 2013, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor under Professor Dr. Takeshi Naota at Osaka University. His current research interests focus on controlling the photophysical properties of organic molecules and transition metal complexes based on unique molecular structures, with particular focus on the emission properties in the aggregated state.
